a bit more about

Macy's story

My journey into women’s health started as a teenager. At 15, I was prescribed the birth control pill to “fix” my painful periods. Like many women, I trusted it was the answer, until years later, I realized it had created more problems than it solved.

In my twenties, I battled severe digestive issues, had my gallbladder and appendix unnecessarily removed for "IBS" because I "wouldn't stop complaining about pain", and was later diagnosed with PCOS, Pancreatitis and an E-coli infection. I was prescribed medications to mask my anxiety, pain and gut symptoms, but I knew deep down that wasn’t a root cause solution.

When I told my doctor I wanted to heal holistically, she laughed and said I’d be back begging for a prescription. That moment lit a fire in me, I was determined to prove her wrong. And I did. By investing in my health and learning what my body truly needed, I was able to thrive without the bandaid of pharmaceuticals, and heal from every single diagnosis I collected along the way.

Then came my fertility journey. Years of hormonal birth control, PCOS, mold exposure and gut imbalances had taken their toll. I spent three years intentionally preparing my body for pregnancy, and it paid off. I conceived my son and even navigated gestational diabetes naturally, managing my blood sugar and delivering him unmedicated at a healthy 6 lbs 12 oz.

But my path wasn’t without heartbreak. In 2022, I experienced the devastating loss of my second pregnancy. Instead of letting it break me, I leaned into the belief that what happens to us actually happens for us. That loss deepened my passion for walking alongside women through their own struggles, with empathy and lived experience.

I recently welcomed a healthy, thriving little boy. He was born full term after what was one of the most layered and challenging journeys of my life. That pregnancy came with the heavy weight of anxiety after a previous loss, weeks of bed rest at 25 weeks due to a shortened cervix and preterm labor, and 23 relentless weeks of hyperemesis gravidarum. To top it off, I endured the pain of a kidney stone in my third trimester that was misdiagnosed as a UTI by multiple providers for 6 weeks. It wasn’t easy, but walking through those hardships taught me the depth of my body’s strength and resilience, and reaffirmed the importance of investing in health long before pregnancy is achieved.

Through it all, I’ve gained not just professional expertise, but personal wisdom. I know what it’s like to sit in the waiting rooms, to get the diagnoses, to cry through the uncertainty—and to rise stronger on the other side. That’s why I do what I do: to empower women like you with tools, strategies, and support so you can write your own story of healing and hope.

Because when it comes to your hormones, fertility, and long-term wellness, you don’t have to walk alone... Let me walk with you
